Joseph A. Schultz, E'30, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, notes, "I
was delighted to see the picture of the banjo club of 1930 [Huskiana, September
1998]. I am seated third from the right, front row. We had great times
in the club. Congratulations on a hundred years. N.U. gave me excellent
mechanical engineering [skills] and lifelong learning and love of the job.
Chaplin Tyler's reflections ["From One Centenarian to Another,"
September 1998] were beautiful. I am ninety-two. Thank you, N.U."
Elling C. Reich, E'34, of Falls Church, Virginia, is "still
going strong at eighty-eight. Play tennis, bowl, sleep."
Morris L. Tobman, L'34, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, writes,
"Sorry to inform you that my dear wife, Ada, passed away on September
7, 1998. We were married over sixty-four years."
Ahti W. Lans, E'35, of Mashpee, Massachusetts, sends an appeal
to his classmates, "Please give N.U. a short blurb in the magazine.
It's only sixty-four years since we graduated."
Robert W. Olsen, E'37, of Rotonda West, Florida, says, "How
and where are all my classmates? Well and hiding, I presume."
Burritt F. Leighton, E'39, of South Easton, Massachusetts, had
a "great time at the Fiftieth Golden Reunion. Sorry I'll be unable
to attend the sixtieth this year."
