AS'90, of Guilford, Connecticut, purchased the mortgage company for which she worked as a broker for six years and renamed it Cellura Mortgage Company. In 1995, she married Michael Vizziello, a consultant for mergers and acquisitions of publicly traded companies. Ursula C. Tafe, MA'90, is completing her doctoral dissertation in politics at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. She wrote a chapter, "Intergovernmental Organizations" for the book Beyond Sovereignty: Readings for the Global Agenda, which will be published this year by Worth Publishing.

John S. Vallis, E'90, of Arlington, Massachusetts, earned an Internet technologies certificate from Northeastern and started an Internet consulting business called @eaze productions. John B. Yaffee, BB'90, of Brattleboro, Vermont, earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts­Boston in 1996 and is now a registered nurse.

Howard Zwang, BA'90, writes, "I am running my family business and have diversified our tire and repair business into one of New York's hottest car audio, wheel, and accessory stores. Elizabeth M. Alves, AS'91, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, is an assistant vice president for State Street Corporation in Quincy. She and Michel Bernaiche, BA'96, are engaged to be married on November 13.

Cara Crisafulli, BB'91, of Dedham, Massachusetts, and her husband, Ken, welcomed their first child, Alex Joseph, on October 26, 1997.

Egidio Ferrara, E'91, started Fe Engineering Technologies, which focuses on new product introduction and manufacturing engineering technologies, in 1993, and launched the Ferrara Insurance Agency, which offers personal and commercial coverage and financial services, in 1994. While at Northeastern, he started a part-time business, EF Tax Consultants, which is now operated and managed by his wife, Donna. "I'm an entrepreneur who still believes in the American dream," writes Ferrara, who received a master's degree in management from Lesley College. He and his wife live in Sheldonville, Massachusetts, with their children, Victoria, Michael, and Adam.

Guy Ferriss, CJ'91, has been employed by the U.S. Customs Service for seven years and recently transferred to its Worcester field office.

Amanda Grethe, MCS'91, received a doctorate in computer science from the University of Southern California and married Jeffrey Grethe in May 1998.

Danny Gromfin and Linea Rowe Gromfin, both MBA'91, of San Francisco, recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. She is a partner with the B/R/S Group, a market research firm. He is president of his own technology marketing consulting company, Gromfin & Associates.

Lee Daniels, MA'92, of New York City, writes, "I'm currently working as an editor for United States and Latin America equity research at a New York­based investment bank. Tom Dearborn, AS'92, traveled to Egypt and much of the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Latin America during 1996 and 1997. He's now enrolled in an MBA program at New Hampshire College in Manchester, New Hampshire, and is engaged to marry Samantha Woodbury.

Kelley L. Diana, AS'92, of New Haven, Connecticut, received a master's degree in education, with certification in K­12, from the University of New Haven. She is a second-grade teacher at Quinnipiac Elementary School in New Haven.

Cary Anthony Elliot, AS'92, and Fiona Duncan, BB'97, were married on July 12, 1997. They live in Waltham, Massachusetts. Elliot received a doctorate of philosophy in economics from Princeton University in 1998.

Dennis M. Maloney, CJ'92, left the Harvard University Police Department and joined the Quincy (Massachusetts) Police Department. He, his wife, Susan, and son, Devin, live in Quincy. Maloney earned a master's degree in criminal justice at Western New England College in 1997.

Michael A. Millette, AS'92, of Woburn, Massachusetts, says he had a busy and exciting May 1998. His daughter, Jenna, was born on May 24, and he launched a new business, Millette Capital, a brokerage and consulting firm, that same month.

Traci Testa Napier, BB'92, writes that she and her husband, Charles, bought a house in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, in May 1998. She says the newest addition to their family is a kitten, Calvin.

Eric Rubin, UC'92, is a real estate broker and owner of ERA Northeastern Metro Realty in Boston. His company recently sold 309­315 Huntington Avenue, which includes fifty-six residential units, three restaurants, and retail space, for $6.1 million. Rubin is a member of N.U.'s National Council.

Timothy J. Troiano, BB'92, and his wife, Heather (Keiley) Troiano, N'94, of Wilmington, Massachusetts, welcomed a son, Christopher, on October 10, 1998.

Nina Olsen, AS'96, of Watertown, Massachusetts, is working toward a master's in clinical psychology at Clark University. "Graduate school has thus far been quite a challenge and, at the same time, intellectually stimulating and exciting," she says.

Vinayak G. Sharma, ME'96, and his wife, Jasmine, welcomed a son, Ravi, on May 31, 1998. "He's healthy and has changed my life for good," notes Sharma, who has earned twenty-eight of forty-five credits toward an MBA at Pace University.

Katherine L. Sivak, BA'97, of Chandler, Arizona, is a senior tax consultant with Ernst & Young in Phoenix. After earning an MBA at Case Western Reserve University in 1998, she became a senior financial analyst at Intel.

Sharon A. Sousa, N'97, of Somerset, Massachusetts, had two articles published in the Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation.

Carrie B. Spillane, AS'97, married Scott C. Spillane last summer. They live in Raymond, Maine, and were expecting their first child in April. Carrie, who is a public relations administrator at St. Joseph's College, spent some time living in San Diego and Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Brian H. Webber, CJ'97, of Framingham, Massachusetts, is engaged to marry AmyLyn Coira in August.
