IMAGES BY THE ART FACULTY

Julie Curtis is an associate professor of media arts and design. This image originated as part of an eight-image sequence titled "Change," in which conflict gradually transforms into resolution. The first and last images were created with paint and collaged paper; the six intervals of change were created digitally. Curtis, who followed undergraduate studies at Skidmore College with a master's in fine arts from Yale University, teaches computer graphics courses and "Advanced Visual Communication" at N.U.
