Richard J. D'Ambrosio
, BA'71, of Peabody, Massachusetts, was promoted in May to senior vice president of support services/operations at Lawrence Savings Bank in North Andover. He is responsible for loan servicing, deposit servicing, maintenance/messengers, computer support and operations, and facilities management.

Anne Buffam Race, BB'71, of Shushan, New York, was on exchange from the Cambridge Central School in Cambridge, New York, to the American School in Japan, where she coached the volleyball team to an undefeated season through late October. Her e-mail address is <brace@asij.ac.jp>.

Janet Newman Silberberg, N'71, and Marshall Silberberg, UC'83, of Randolph, Massachusetts, report that their daughter, Faith, will receive a master's degree in physical therapy in January 2000.

Rob Jepsen, BA'72, of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, has been promoted to capital finance manager in the corporate finance department of Sony Pictures Entertainment in Culver City.

Roland E. Lefebvre, E'73, is executive vice president and chief operating officer at American Superconductor in Westborough, Massachusetts. He and his wife, Mary, and children, Roland and Nicole, live in Boxborough.

Craig Moyer, E'73, is director of process engineering for Hershey Foods in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He joined the firm in 1972 as a quality auditor and has held numerous engineering positions in the company. He and his wife, Sigrid, live in Harrisburg.

Keith M. Sherman, E'74, of Belle Mead, New Jersey, opened A World of Toys, a specialty toy store, in Chester, New Jersey, in 1992. "Own and operate with my spouse, Marilyn," he writes. "Even our two children, Greg and Rachel, are expert helpers. It's a family affair."

Robert L. Brookes, LA'75, of Coconut Grove, Florida, is a senior vice president and regional executive with SunTrust Bank in Miami. After a career with the former Bank of Boston in Boston, Argentina, Turkey, and Miami, Brookes was named president of Key Biscayne Bank & Trust. When the bank was sold to SunTrust in 1995, Brookes stayed on as the executive from the Key Biscayne region. He and his wife, Lidia Maximenko, have four children.

Michael B. Fixman, CJ'75, heads Michael B. Fixman & Associates, an Everett, Massachusetts, company that comprises constables, private detectives, and process servers. Fixman is a constable and licensed private investigator in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.

David Schwartz, CJ'75, is a senior administrative analyst in the probation division of the New Jersey Supreme Court. He received an MBA in 1986 from Long Island University, served as an officer in the Army for three years, was a member of several police departments in New England, and completed the New Hampshire State Police Training Academy. He and his wife, Francine Rothenberg, have three daughters, Jennifer, Kimberly, and Stacie. "Eternally young at heart and trying to deal with the trials and tribulations of teenagers," he writes.

Joyce Bedi, LA'77, of Washington, D.C., was the guest curator of "Flashes of Inspiration: The Work of Harold Edgerton," a long-term exhibit at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Museum. She is the historian at the Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation, National Museum of American History, at the Smithsonian Institution.

Bryan Lampner, PAH'77, has been director of pharmacy at Milford Hospital in Milford, Connecticut, for fifteen years. He and his wife, Judi, have two children, Allison and Sarah. "I spend my spare time coaching the kids' soccer teams and working for the United Way of Milford," he writes. "I'm also on the board of directors for the Milford Health Clinic." Diane M. (Magner) Cole, FD'79, and her husband, Donald, of Derry, New Hampshire, welcomed a son, Jeffrey Donald, on October 2. He joins a brother, Douglas, and sisters Brittany and Danielle. Cole works part-time as a dental hygienist in Woburn, Massachusetts.

J. David Thompson, BA'79, of Palmetto, Florida, was promoted in February to marketing company president of U-Haul in western Florida.
