Michael Falkoff
, L'80, has joined the Boston law firm Nutter, McLennen & Fish, in the intellectual property department. Falkoff, who formerly was with Lahive & Cockfield, specializes in patent law related to advanced electronics, optics, medical devices, and materials technologies.

John M. Sutherland III, PA'80, received a law degree from Roger Williams University in May. He is vice president of finance at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. He and his wife, Nina, have two children, Erin and Carla.

Joseph A. Guth, BA'81, of Pepperell, Massachusetts, and his wife, Tracy, celebrated the birth of their second son, Alec, on May 11. They can be reached by e-mail at <guth@ctronn.com>.

Dennis P. Hogan Sr., MBA'81, of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, is director of category development for Häagen­Dazs, a Pillsbury brand based in Minneapolis.

Walter R. McGrath, E'82, was named president of the American Public Power Association at the organization's annual conference in Texas in June. McGrath is general manager of the Braintree Electric Light Department.

Carl B. Roberts, E'82, of St. Johns, Antigua, is general manager of Cable and Wireless Dominica.

Rosalind F. Berman-Myerson, AS'83, of Quincy, Massachusetts, is the service representative at Direct Channel, a direct-marketing company in Randolph.

Michael J. Davis, MS'83, is director of sales and marketing for Arconium/Oster Alloys in Providence, Rhode Island. He, his wife, and two daughters live in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Kyle FitzMaurice, BA'83, teaches social studies at Saunders Trades and Technical High School in Yonkers, New York, "I've been teaching for the past six years, and I love it," he says. "It is always what I wanted to do but was too caught up to realize it. I'm thrilled to be finally doing what I love." Last summer, FitzMaurice sailed to Massachusetts. Jean Dalva, AS'84, writes, "I have been living in Denver for the past three years and I love it. I'd like to hear from any classmates in the area. I keep in touch with Sharon Coe in New York, but that's about it. I don't know if I'm coming to our reunion in 1999."

Charles A. Hawkins, PAH'84, of Tucson, Arizona, is the manager for Sunquest Systems, a laboratory information computer system in Tucson. He says he'd enjoy receiving e-mail from medical technology graduates in the class of 1984. Send it to <cxh@sunquest.com>.

Al Noll, CJ'84, had a memorable week in April. He and his wife, Debbie, and their four-year-old daughter, Alyssa, greeted the birth of Courtney Noelle on April 23. That same week, Noll was promoted to staff software engineer at IBM in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Ted Sakshaug, BB'84, of Macomb, Illinois, completed his master's degree in instructional technology at Western Illinois University and teaches high school chemistry in Lewiston. His oldest son, Eric, started kindergarten this fall, and his youngest child, Rudy, started cello lessons. Sakshaug's wife, Lynae, earned a doctorate at North Carolina State University and is a member of the mathematics faculty at Western Illinois. He says hello to the alumni group in Durham, North Carolina.

Carol J. Spack, L'84, of Framingham, Massachusetts, writes, "My art law and nonprofit practice is growing with the creative growth of my clients, including a local Tibetan cultural society. I have also established an art studio to work more seriously on my figure sculptures and bronze work."

Lauren Egan Chivallati, E'85, and her husband, Gary, of Franklin, Massachusetts, welcomed a son, Matthew, on June 29. Kim Gerbasi, AS'85, of New York City, is executive producer of AM programming at WNBC radio in New York.

Lisa Marie (Pane) Traverso, AS'85, writes, "It's been an exciting year. I got married in January, moved from New York to Connecticut, and switched jobs and careers, leaving journalism as a reporter at Reuters to become press secretary to Connecticut attorney general Richard Blumenthal." Chris Ubaldi, LC'85, and his wife, Susan, welcomed a son, Andrew James, on August 3, 1995. He says it was the most profound event of his life. The family, including their dog, Grambo, lives in Thomaston, Connecticut. Ubaldi says he'd like to know the whereabouts of classmates David Hannay and Donna Maclachlan.

Susan Aronson Goldstein, E'86, and her husband, Steve, of Wayland, Massachusetts, welcomed a son, Aaron Lawrence, on June 11, 1997.

Whit Stockwell, CS'86, and John Xu, ME'88, have joined with Domingo Gonzalez to found XGS Technology <www.xgs.com>, a provider of software consulting services specializing in distributed applications for business.

Laarni Von Ruden, PA'86, manages her own public accounting firm in downtown Palo Alto, California.

Deborah Deltano Walsh, BA'86, and her husband, Brian, of Melrose, Massachusetts, welcomed a son, Kevin Edward, on April 19. "I'm a stay-at-home mom, and I love it," she writes. "I left my full-time teaching job in June. Maybe some day I'll go back, but right now I love being at home."

Dan Kiel, MS'87, of San Diego, is a senior scientist in the department of pharmacology at Alanex Corporation.

Paul M. King, UC'87, and his wife, Marcella, of Columbus, Ohio, recently welcomed a son, Eli. King was also promoted to assistant vice president at Doyle Protective Services.

Steven W. Mikels, BA'87, and Heidi A. Solomon Mikels, BB'88, of Oreland, Pennsylvania, welcomed a son, Maxwell Reid, on April 14. He joins sister Samantha.

Tracy (Fisher) Benedict, E'88, and her husband, James, celebrated the birth of Jordan Joyce in May. Benedict is a senior industrial engineer at BAX Global. Her husband is a vice president at J&H Marsh McLennan. In October, the couple planned to vacation with and celebrate the one-year wedding anniversary of Christine (Coluccio) Risi, E'86, and her husband, Dave, in Cancún, Mexico. Risi is an environmental section supervisor for Exxon Company USA. Her husband is a product manager at Radian. They live in Houston, Texas.

Sally L. Clayton, CJ'88, has lived and worked in Hartford, Connecticut, and Los Angeles. She now works for Young, Clement, Rivers & Tisdale in Charleston, South Carolina, as a litigation paralegal. Amy Mazzola Coakley, BB'88, and her husband, John, of Walpole, Massachusetts, celebrated the birth of their first child, Meghan Teresa, on March 31. Coakley is an area ancillary manager for the Vencor Corporation, supervising rehabilitation services in skilled nursing centers.

Sandra J. Czibik, PAH'88, is a pharmacist at Concord Hospital in Concord, New Hampshire. She and her husband, Arthur Cunningham, have four children, John, Nadine, Carolyn, and Nathan.

Matthew J. Eastwood, E'88, and his wife, Lynn, of Southborough, Massachusetts, celebrated the birth of their first child, Hannah, on July 9, 1997.

Sung H. Kim, E'88, ME'93, of West Concord, Massachusetts, has been accepted to the entrepreneurship and global marketing program at Babson College.

Anthony S. Kourepenis, E'88, ME'92, is an associate director at Draper Lab in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He and his wife, Elaina, and children Steven, Gigi, and Rebecca live in Acton, Massachusetts.

Devon (McLarty) Bishop, BA'89, and her husband, Andre, welcomed a son, Andrew Jordan, on May 30.
