Neil R. Blaho, E'82, of Aston, Pennsylvania, is a staff engineer

Lauren Goldfarb Berson, BB'82, writes, "I've been happily
married to Marc, an optometrist, for fourteen and a half years. I'm a speech-language
pathologist working in the schools. I have two terrific kids, Andrew and

Susan E. Hadley-Bulger writes, "Sadly, I must inform you
of the death of my father-in-law, Joseph E. Bulger, of Wilmington, Massachusetts.
The date on his Northeastern University ring-a most cherished thing-is
1970 (electrical engineering). It has been passed to his eldest child,
my husband, Joseph M. Bulger, E'82." The Bulgers also announce the
birth of their third daughter and tenth child, Eliza Hope, on January 13.
Joseph is a senior process engineer at Digital's Hudson plant, soon to
be Intel. Susan is a sophomore Davis Scholar at Wellesley College. "Joseph
and I met on the Quad a million years ago-the first day of school in the
fall of '74-while getting our student ID cards," Susan writes. "We
recently celebrated our twenty-first wedding anniversary. Seems like only
yesterday."

Jan Aase, E'83, is manager of the engineering mechanics laboratory
at the General Electric Research and Development Center in Schenectady,
New York. Prior to joining GE, Aase worked for a boat-building firm in
Gloucester, Massachusetts, where he designed the Flying Dutchmanclass
sailboat that won the 1984 Olympic gold medal. A native of Oslo, Norway,
Aase and his wife, Janet Sarjeant-Aase, live in Rexford, New York, with
their children, Robin and Janet.
Rosalind Berman-Myerson, AS'83, of Quincy, Massachusetts, taught
a six-week public speaking class to adult students at Rockland and Canton
high schools.
Steven R. Boulanger, BA'83, and his wife, Patti, of North Attleboro,
Massachusetts, welcomed a daughter, Nicole Marie, on New Year's Eve. Due
to circumstances beyond their control, the baby was delivered at home.
Was Boulanger rattled? "Not really. Being an accountant, I experience
that level of excitement every day of my life," he quipped, adding,
"Not only did she save me a bundle in delivery charges, she gave me
an additional exemption on my '97 taxes."

a new job as a postsecondary educator and administrator at Medical and
Computer Sciences.

Christopher, on February 25. Jacqui is a physical therapist at Orthopedic
Associates in Portland, Maine. George is director of sports medicine and

Jeffrey C. Horrigan, AS'86, of Covington, Kentucky, is in his
sixth year covering the Cincinnati Reds for the Cincinnati Post. This is
his twelfth year writing about major league baseball. He also serves as
an analyst on Reds radio broadcasts.
Jon Israelite, BA'86, of Norwalk, Connecticut, is a senior category
development manager for Playtex Products in Westport. Deborah Lederman,
BA'86, is the restaurant manager of the Barclay Bar and Grill in the Intercontinental
Hotel in Manhattan, New York. "Managing a staff of forty-five can
be quite a challenge," she writes. "I haven't learned so much
since I was in school. Still living in midtown Manhattan, but I do wonder
about Northeastern and its redone green open spaces. All is well and very,
very busy."
