Marc J. Estra, E'80, and his wife, Lynn, of Woodbridge, Connecticut, welcomed a daughter, Elyse Tamara, on October 24, 1997. The couple have two other children, Stephanie and Gregory.

Ruth M. Kelley, N'80, UC'86, of Arlington, Massachusetts, is director of residential services and behavioral health at Dimock Community Health Center.

Margo T. Laing, AS'80, of Highland Mills, New York, is director of sales and marketing for the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains. In 1995, she married Benjamin A. Laing of Montego Bay, Jamaica. They have a son, Benjamin, born April 10, 1996.

Harvey B. Sklar, BB'80, of Randolph, Massachusetts, says "life is great" with his wife and son. He completed his eighth Pan-Mass Challenge, a 200-mile bike ride to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.

Gary P. Aspesi, E'81, and Sydney W. Sawyer, BHD'83, of Clifton, Virginia, were married last September in Camden, Maine. Mark N. Edoff, BA'81, of Bolton, Massachusetts, was named a partner in KPMG Peat Marwick last June. His daughter, Alexandra Caroline, was born last November.

Arist Frangules, AS'81, and his wife, Karen, of North Andover, Massachusetts, welcomed their third son, Matthew, last September. He joins twin brothers Christopher and Philip.

Harriet F. Freedman, UC'81, of Newton Centre, Massachusetts, notes she was sixty-seven when she earned her Northeastern degree and is now eighty-three "and still here."

Jim Hirni, ME'81, of Hollis, New Hampshire, is vice president of engineering at PakNetX in Salem, New Hampshire.

Steven J. Karp, LA'81, of Holbrook, Massachusetts, married Susan E. Metcalfe in September 1997.

Francis Longley, MA'81, had her paintings exhibited in February at the Fort Smith (Arkansas) Art Center in celebration of Black History Month. Her works depict scenes of Christ, the saints, and the Virgin Mary.

Lance K. Murray, E'81, of Bel Air, Maryland, is an executive search consultant for Fortune Consultants in Bel Air.

Timothy A. Churchill, E'82, of Framingham, Massachusetts, works for Raytheon at Draper Laboratory. He writes, "Keeping busy between work and being daddy to twins Michael and Helen, born in April 1994."

Jack Paulo, AS'82, and his wife, Sonja, of Quincy, Massachusetts, celebrated the first birthday of their son, Gregory, last October. They were expecting a second child in March.

James F. Stewart, CJ'82, moved from Chicago to Kennebunk, Maine, to take a job as special agent with the U.S. Customs Office of Investigations in Portland. He and his wife, Mary, have two sons, Sean and Danny.

Roberta Gaudet Burke, N'83, and her husband, Arthur, of South Dartmouth, Massachusetts, have two daughters, Lauren Brophy and Caroline Claire.

Eileen Fitzgerald Cavanaugh, CJ'83, of Marshfield, Massachusetts, was recently appointed to the Massachusetts AFL-CIO where, she says, she is "working for fair wages and good conditions" for union members.

Lisa (Collins) Ciach, PAH'83, was married in 1996 and now lives in Chaddsford, Pennsylvania.

John J. Cotter, E'83, of Milton, Massachusetts, is a partner in the law firm Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault in Boston. He specializes in intellectual property law, including patent and trademark litigation.

Shelley G. Lane, UC'83, of Newton, Massachusetts, will marry Philip Benjamin on June 14. She is a personnel placement consultant for Accountsource and has a master's degree in psychological studies from Cambridge College.

Steven R. Sciuto, UC'83, of Methuen, Massachusetts, was awarded the 1997 Chiropractor of the Year Award by the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society. He has served two terms as the organization's president.

Richard B. Wallace, E'83, married Diane M. Brownlie of Arlington, Massachusetts, in September. They live in Southborough, Massachusetts.

Scott Wallman, MBA'83, and his wife, Terri Richman, of Stamford, Connecticut, recently welcomed a son, Shai. He is the couple's first child.

Laura Arbeitmann, L'84, is the mother of twin boys, Abraham and Jonah, born May 20, 1997.

Bruce H. Candiano, LC'84, writes, "Still making the best of it here in Egypt after two years of living in Beni Suief, 100 kilometers south of Cairo. Have the first of two 600 MW steam-turbine generators operating for our customer, the Egyptian Electrical Authority. The second unit should come on line this summer. Hopefully, I can get out of here at that time and get back to reality in the good ol' U.S. of A. Bought a house in Saratoga Springs, New York, where we'll chill out after this assignment. Marty Trackman, BA'84, and his wife, Brenda, celebrated the birth of twin daughters, Sarah and Rebecca, on May 24, 1997. Trackman is the director of casino finance at the Trump Marina Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Alan M. Weinstein, E'84, returned from a "three-year European expatriate assignment" and is now director of marketing for CAD-One, a computer supplies company near Cincinnati.

Phil Halfond and Jill (Greengus) Halfond, both BA'85, of St. Paul, Minnesota, have two children, Matthew and Amanda. Phil is a key-account logistics representative for 3M Company and Jill is director of sales for Radisson Hotels.

Elspeth L. Farmer, L'86, of Palo Alto, California, is a visiting scholar at Stanford Law School and the Institute for Research on Women and Gender. Her areas of research are comparative criminal law and sentencing.

Nicholas G. Gassey, LC'86, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, is a senior systems engineer with Motorola in Marlborough, Massachusetts. He is working toward a master's in business administration at Bryant College.

Marc P. Rosenberg, BA'86, of Boca Raton, Florida, is controller of Grant Court Lifestyles, which owns and operates more than fifty assisted-living retirement communities.

Paul Foote, BB'87, and Tracy (Malison) Foote, CJ'87, of Nashville, Tennessee, celebrated the birth of their third child, Alexandra Grielle, on February 11, 1997. Their other children are Chris and Kimberly.

Jennie (Lee) Tannenbaum, CJ'89, has opened a law office in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. She has a general practice with concentrations in real-estate and animal-rights law.
