Regan J. Greene, BA'90, is engaged to John P. Royston. A September
wedding is planned at Beechwood Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island. Greene
is vice president of operations at HMH Investment Advisors in Boston. Her
fiancé is a senior systems analyst at Thomson Financial Services
in Boston.
Wayne McFee, MS'90, of Charleston, South Carolina, was given
the 1997 Coastal American Partnership Award for right whale activities
in the southeastern United States. Richard O. Sales, MBA'90, married Marie
Ange Richiez on July 19, 1997, at the Boca Raton Country Club in Florida.
They spent their honeymoon in Paris.
Abdul Karim A. Bajunaid, PAH'91, works at the University of Texas
Medical Branch in Galveston, where he lives.
Thomas Fallon, E'91, and Kathryn Cody, CJ'96, have planned
a wedding for June in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Cody is a publishing
specialist with Bell Atlantic. Fallon is a self-employed computer contractor
for Fortune 500 companies throughout Massachusetts.
Leonard Perlmutter, CJ'91, MJ'92, and Kristine Malik,
MA'94, welcomed a son, Joshua, in November 1997.
Steve Pierson, BA'91, and Andrea Bass plan to be married in August
and are building a house in Ashland, Massachusetts. Pierson is an application
specialist for Aseco Corporation in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Bass is

Helen S. Pineo, MN'91, of York Beach, Maine, writes, "I
am enjoying my retirement from public health in beautiful Maine."
Wendy J. Bozelko, AS'92, of Boston, is engaged to marry Peter
M. Hoffman on July 25. She is an area manager for Ameriquest Mortgage Company.
David S. Law, L'92, of Seattle was elected to the executive committee
of the Family Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association.
Kirsten Nelson, AS'92, and Brian Callahan, AS'93, were
married on September 6, 1997, in Boston. Nelson is a lawyer with Mahoney,
Hawkes & Golding in Boston. Callahan is a stockbroker with H. C. Wainwright
in Boston.
John Newlon, UC'92, MBA'96, received the United Way of Massachusetts
Bay's 1998 Courage Award in January. Newlon overcame a troubled childhood
with the help of the Big Brother Association of Greater Boston. He was
matched with Charles Baker, now the secretary of administration and finance
for Massachusetts. "He was a very angry kid who didn't much like anybody's
opinion about anything, and that affected his relationship with everybody,
including other members of his family and members of the community,"
said Baker of Newlon. With Baker's support, Newlon graduated from Newton
South High School and Northeastern (MBA summa cum laude). When Newlon and
his wife, Joan, married in 1993, Baker was the best man. The Newlons live
in Southborough, Massachusetts. They have a son, John, and are expecting
a second child in July. Newlon is a material planner at Corning ICA in
Marlborough. The presentation of the United Way award was made by actor
Don Johnson at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.
Joan Conklin Stevens, UC'92, is a senior consultant in the Healthcare
Services Group of Blum, Shapiro & Company in West Hartford, Connecticut.
John J. Rogers, CJ'93, of Stoughton, Massachusetts, is an associate
with the Providence, Rhode Island, law firm McGovern Noel & Benik.
He concentrates in litigation and environmental law.
William O. Sheppard, UC'93, of Boston, received a master's degree
in education from Boston College and is in his second year teaching in
Newton, Massachusetts.
Eric W. Schreiber, E'93, moved to Miami to start work with Royal
Caribbean International as Marine Superintendent in charge of the electrical
installations on board the cruise ship fleet. He writes, "I would

Lesly Daguerre, UC'97, is looking for a videotape of the University
College graduation ceremonies on June 16, 1997. "I brought my video
camera along with me to tape my graduation," he writes. "Once
everything was over, to my consternation, I was told that the battery had
died. I have talked to just about everyone at N.U. who had something to
do with the ceremony. My last recourse is to place this notice to see if

Corey Michael Masse, AS'97, is the new director of media relations
for the Chesapeake Icebreakers of the East Coast Hockey League. He was
director of hockey broadcasting and a radio announcer for Northeastern
