Steven R. Abrams
, E'70, is a judge on the U.S. Immigration Court. He received a law degree in 1974 from St. John's University School of Law. He and his wife, Linda (Rosenthal) Abrams, Ed'71, live in Seaford, New York. They have two sons, Russel, a senior at Indiana University, and Seth, a freshman at Pennsylvania State University.

Tom Ross, BB'70, MPA'76, of Fairfax, Virginia, is assistant director of recreation and conservation for the National Park Service in Washington, D.C. He and his wife, Barbara, a former secretary at Northeastern, have two sons, Michael and Brian.

Robert A. Kennedy III, MS'71, ME'75, of Brockton, Massachusetts, writes, "Go, Husky hockey!" He urges Northeastern to "keep up the good work in the math and electrical engineering departments."

Alan N. Riman, BA'71, of Stoughton, Massachusetts, started a business called Lots of Laffs. He says his goal is to be the world's foremost authority on one-line jokes. Ken Bowen, LC'72, of Lakewood, Colorado, is director of the U.S. General Services Administration's Federal Supply Service for the six-state Rocky Mountain region. He and his wife, Mary, have two daughters, Penny and Molly.

Isabelle (McDade) Chamberlain, LA'72, of Greentown, Pennsylvania, has retired as vice president of administration at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey. She and her husband bought a stable of thirty-six horses and started a business that specializes in trail rides, wagon rides, carriage rides, and sleigh rides in the Poconos. David P. Eichler, BA'72, of Woodside, California, is vice president of finance at Adobe Systems in San Jose.

Joanne E. Burrill, BB'73, of South Hampton, New Hampshire, is a staff physical therapist for Olympus Health Care.

Barry J. Cooper, LA'73, of New Haven, Connecticut, is director of public affairs for Yale University.

Bill Vines, AE'74, E'76, and his partner, Mary Furlong, are constructing a country inn in Killington, Vermont. He reports that the Birch Ridge Inn will have ten rooms and a gourmet restaurant.

Susan M. (Swenson) Ach, Ed'75, of Port Orchard, Washington, is a seventh-grade science teacher in Kent, Washington. She and her husband of ten years, James, have a daughter, Jennifer, who turns six in April.

Alan L. Reiss, E'75, of Oceanside, New York, is general manager of operations for life, safety, and security for the World Trade Center in New York City.

Karl Vanetten, MBA'76, of Aurora, Colorado, received a doctorate in education from the University of Northern Colorado in May 1997.

Elizabeth Unger Carlysle, L'77, of Lees Summit, Missouri, is president of the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She's the first woman to hold that post.

John M. Garrigan, CJ'77, of Atlanta, is vice president of customer support for Barton Protective Services in Atlanta and vice chairman of the Metro Atlanta Crime Commission.

Raymond G. Fitzgerald, BA'78, of West Roxbury, Massachusetts, and his wife, Mary, welcomed a daughter, Kathryn "Kate" Lyons, on March 10, 1997. The couple also have a son, John. Both children are "future Huskies," Fitzgerald writes.

Ayres Hall, UC'78, UC'86, of Wayland, Massachusetts, writes, "Thank you, Northeastern, for hosting the Boston end of the third annual Boston to New York AIDS Ride! I hope you will continue to do this as long as the event is held."

Natalma M. McKnew, L'78, of Greenville, South Carolina, is in her fourth year as managing director of Leatherwood Walker Todd and Mann, a law firm with fifty lawyers and two offices. "Still litigating antitrust and franchise cases," she writes. McKnew, the first female managing partner of a major law firm in South Carolina, is on the Chamber of Commerce board and was named one of the fifty most influential people in Greenville. "My daughter is a beautiful sixteen!" she says.

Paul A. Struzziero, BA'78, is district sales manager of the Mid-Atlantic division of Con Agra Corporation. He, his wife, and two children live in Baltimore.
