Mary J. Kossar, UC'70, of Fairfax, Virginia, retired from the Internal Revenue Service's Office of Chief Counsel in 1992 after twenty years with the agency. She took a trip to Australia last year and has plans to travel to China this month.Kenneth H. Lindgren, E'70, is remarried and living in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the manager of customer services for Bird Machine Company, a process equipment supplier.
Christopher S. Mosher, LA'70, of Newton, Massachusetts, is the new director of development at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Mosher was formerly vice president of development at Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He helped make the 199596 fiscal year the best fund-raising year in the history of the university, with increases in all categories of giving. Prior to that, he worked in several capacities at Northeastern for twenty-five years.
Marc Alan Cohn, LA'71, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been elected to the executive committee of the American Society of Plant Physiologists. Catherine M. McFadyen, N'71, of Medford, Massachusetts, is an adult nurse practitioner and associate chief operating officer at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center.

Michael Winter, BA'71, of Brookline, Massachusetts, has been appointed senior managing director of Bear, Stearns & Company, a worldwide investment banking and securities trading firm in Boston. He has been with the company in several capacities since 1985. Prior to that, Winter worked at Sussex Securities, PaineWebber, and Shearson Lehman. He is active in the Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston and is on the board of directors of Jewish Big Brothers and the Jewish Vocational Service. He is also on the board of overseers for Children's Hospital and is active in the United Way of Boston. He and his wife, Deborah Goldberg, have four children.
Jeff Garside, LA'72, of Fair Haven, New Jersey, is in his twenty-fifth year teaching at Rumson Country Day School, where he is the head of the science department and technology program. He and his wife, Cheryl Grenier, LA'72, report that their eldest son is studying fine arts at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
David E. Ross, E'72, of Clinton, Massachusetts, has been elected to the board of trustees of Clinton Savings Bank. He is the president of David E. Ross Associates, a firm of civil engineers, land surveyors, and environmental consultants in Ayer, Massachusetts.
David Zuckerman, BA'72, of Wyckoff, New Jersey, started Marlyn Insurance Services in North Haledon, New Jersey, in March 1996. The company specializes in credit and political risk and ocean marine coverages.
Charles F. Cicciarella, LA'73, BB'77, is the author of a graduate textbook, Research in Physical Education, Exercise Science, and Sport: An Introduction. The book and associated instructor's manual are his fourteenth and fifteenth publications. Cicciarella teaches in the department of sports and exercise sciences at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas.
Brendan W. Collins, LC'73, UC'77, of Lebanon, New Hampshire, is a pilot for Continental Airlines, based in Newark, New Jersey.
Paul I. Douglas, E'73, ME'75, of Norfolk, Massachusetts, is building an amphibian kit-plane when he's not working as a senior patent attorney for Gillette Company at the Prudential Center in Boston. His wife, Hilda Maffei Douglas, LA'74, tutors from her home office and schedules around the couple's two sons, Jake, twelve, and Ross, eight.
Steven Green, LA'73, is principal of CareerPath, a career counseling and business consulting firm with three offices in the Boston area. He's produced a two-cassette audio program, "Job Search Mastery," and is the publisher of a newsletter, Working Smart, which is distributed free via e-mail.
R. Michael Gross, E'73, of Washington, Missouri, is director of operations and engineering for Rexam Containers in Union, Missouri.
Glenn Everett Churchill, LA'74, of Marshfield, Massachusetts, is principal of Churchill Law Associates, which focuses on business law and litigation and construction, health, and entertainment law. Churchill, grandson of Everett Avery Churchill, a former Northeastern vice president and law school dean, teaches business law and business organizations at Massachusetts Bay Community College. Burton J. Buchman, LA'75, was elected to a second term on the school committee in Melrose, Massachusetts. He chaired the committee in 1996.
Loretta Sullivan Dekay, LA'75, has lived in Lagos, Nigeria, for the past five years. Her husband, Lloyd, works for Chevron Overseas Petroleum. She says she's "enjoyed living and traveling in Africa" and expects to return to the United States this summer. The couple have two daughters, Keara, ten, and Alina, seven.
Grace Ann Steed, UC'75, of Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, is a marketing specialist at XEROTECH in Salem, New Hampshire. The company is an authorized agent for Xerox Corporation and "a great group of people to work with," Steed says.
Patrick T. L. Chu, BA'76, of Hong Kong, and his wife, Betty, celebrated the birth of their second daughter, Lorraine, on April 23, 1996. Patrick was reelected chairman of the Association of Retailers and Tourism Services.
Thomas Clark, BA'76, retired from the military as a lieutenant colonel after twenty years. He lives at the Pasadena Yacht and Country Club in Gulfport, Florida, and enjoys travel, golf, tennis, deep-sea fishing, and relaxation. "Thank you, Northeastern, for a wonderful education," he says.

Kevan J. Cunningham, CJ'78, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, has been appointed an associate justice of the Falmouth District Court by Governor William Weld. Cunningham formerly served as second assistant district attorney for Bristol County.
Laurie M. Cutter, MEd'78, of Plaistow, New Hampshire, chaired the 1996 Stewards' Assembly for the Service Employees International Union, Local 509, which comprises social services, human services, and rehabilitation professionals in Massachusetts.
Richard G. Day, BB'79, of Portland, Maine, is medical director at UNUM in Portland. He and his wife, Florence, have two children, Alexandre and Benjamin. Day congratulates his younger brother for graduating in 1996 with a civil engineering degree.
