Benjamin J. Cantor, E'31, of Belmont, Massachusetts, is the author of The Role of the Expert Witness in a Court Trial (A Guide for the Expert Witness). Cantor, who has a law degree from Boston College, is a pioneer in the field of forensic photography and has testified as an expert witness in more than 150 trials.Arnold S. Rosenthal, L'31, of Boca Raton, Florida, writes, "I well remember our classes on Huntington Avenue. My education at Northeastern mushroomed. Our son, Kevin, an MIT graduate, has the chair in politics at Princeton. Our daughter, Dr. Suzanne Thorpe, a Harvard graduate, is a biochemistry professor at the University of South Carolina. Three grandsons are Harvard graduates, a fourth is an economics professor at UCLA. I spent most of my adult life in Pittsburgh. We retired to Boca Raton in 1977. A. Merton Bozoian, E'32, of Middletown, Connecticut, was inducted into the Middletown Sports Hall of Fame in January.
Charles G. Kagan, L'36, of Revere, Massachusetts, says he's still practicing law. He has a son who is an attorney and a granddaughter who is in law school.
Vinal B. Good, L'37, of East Sebago, Maine, was honored on his ninetieth birthday (January 6, 1996) with a proclamation from both the Senate and the House of Representatives in Maine. The proclamation acknowledged him as the oldest living former Speaker of the House.
Les Lenfest, E'37, and his wife, Ginnie, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in August. They live in Bel Air, Maryland.
Stanley C. Shaw, BA'39, and his wife, Roberta, celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary in 1996. They have three children and five grandchildren. Shaw is a member of the Harvard Institute for Learning in Retirement and volunteers at the Hull Lifesaving Museum. "On occasion, I see Ed Williams, BA'39, who lives in Hingham," he writes.
