1920s

William S. Horsefield
, E'29, of Burien, Washington, writes, "In the September issue, Herman C. Selya asks if there are any 1929 classmates left. Well, I am, and I often think about the difference between N.U. then and now. My wife, Florence, and I celebrated our sixty-third wedding anniversary July 31; on September 27, I reached ninety years of age. I retired to Florida in 1970, and we spent twenty-three happy years there. Health problems then made it advisable to submit to the urging of family to be together, so we are now living with our daughter in the Seattle area. While in Florida, we were close neighbors with the Kinghorns. James H. Kinghorn, E'29, died June 25."
