More students living on campus than
ever
Thanks to the addition of several new residence
halls this fall, Northeastern is now housing 7,400 students—approximately
50 percent of its undergraduates, the highest percentage ever.
The newest residence hall is a 153-bed building
at 10 Coventry Street, off Columbus Avenue. Other new residences
include West Village Buildings G and H, located off Huntington Avenue.
Six-story Building G has lecture halls on the ground
floor and dorm rooms on the upper floors. Building H houses the
College of Computer and Information Science on its first four floors;
apartment-style student housing fills the rest of the structure,
which at sixteen stories is now Northeastern’s tallest building.
