Ministry of Sound

By Karen Feldscher

They’re street-smart. They’re cool. And they’re crazy about what they do—making sure the music industry stays red-hot.

There’s a megawatt MTV VJ. A sassy NYC DJ turned celebrity-gossip queen. The versatile music director behind Justin Timberlake. The youngest DJ at Boston’s flagship rock-and-roll station. The president of a dance club and its expanding empire. A savvy radio mogul. And an up-and-coming promoter who runs 90 miles per hour (he has to—he’s still in school).

Lots of people know them as phenoms. But maybe you didn’t know they’re Huskies.

Meet seven movers and shakers bringing big-time snap and crackle to the world of pop.
