NU Magazine wins four more medals
Northeastern University Alumni Magazine earned four more
nods for editorial and design excellence in January, bringing to
eighteen the number of honors garnered in 2003 competitions.
The Mercury Awards were given to work chosen from
among 900 entries from thirteen countries.
Senior writer Karen Feldscher’s article “The
Play’s the Thing” [March 2003] earned a gold for best article
about an employee. “Who’s
Afraid of the Big, Bad Bear?” [November 2002] won a silver for
best illustration/graphic design. Herbert Hadad’s essay “Utter
Anxiety” [January 2003] earned a silver for best byline article.
And the magazine’s September 2003 issue took home a silver for overall
writing excellence.
