Victor Poirier, LC’70, MBA’81, of Concord, Massachusetts, was inducted into the National Academy of Engineering in 2003. “Being inducted into such a prestigious group would not have been possible without the education that Northeastern provided, allowing me to accomplish my goals,” he writes.

Marshal Rudman, E’70, writes, “I am trying to do some networking with alumni because I have been out of work since March 2002. I currently live in Atlanta but am willing to move for the right opportunity.” His e-mail address is m.l.rudman@worldnet.att.net.

John C. Edmunds, LA’71, of Somerville, Massachusetts, writes, “Lately, I have been doing a lot of work in Chile and am currently in South Korea. The argument in Brave New Wealthy World (my latest book) is gaining some press coverage. At first, readers balk at the optimism, but then they acknowledge that the data support my thesis.” His book asserts that a middle-class standard of living will be available in developing nations within thirty years.

Steven N. Rappaport, BA’71, of New York City, is a member of the board of directors at Presstek, a developer of digital laser imaging and technologies for printing and graphic arts. Rappaport is a partner in RZ Capital, a private equity investment company.

Walt Skowronski, E’72, of Lake Forest, Illinois, is the new president of Boeing Capital, which provides financing to buy and lease Boeing commercial aircraft. He was previously senior vice president of finance and treasurer of Boeing.

Robert Fox, E’73, of Norwell, Massachusetts, has been with Teradyne for thirty years. He is an applications engineer at the company’s assembly test division in North Reading.

Malcolm MacIver, CJ’73, of Derry, New Hampshire, retired from the Derry Police Department on December 31, 2003. He is the community’s first patrolman to serve thirty years.

Steven F. Anderson, BA’74, of North Easton, Massachusetts, worked in finance and treasury for twenty-nine years and now has switched careers to real estate. He works for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Franklin.

Richard M. Feldt, E’74, of Carlisle, Massachusetts, is the chief executive officer at Marlborough-based Evergreen Solar, a developer of solar-power products.

Vin Ratford, E’74, of San Jose, California, is the president of Cupertino’s Giga Scale Integration, an electronic design automation software company. He most recently served as president of deepTECH Consulting Group.

Jim Karolides, UC’75, of Middleton, Massachusetts, has retired as an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and has begun a new career. He and Lou Silvestri head up Style Is Back In Style, a music group.

Sheldon I. Rosinsky, BA’76, of Torrance, California, is the president and founder of the Law Offices of Sheldon I. Rosinsky, a criminal-law defense practice.

David C. Lewis, BA’78, has moved to Scituate, Massachusetts, with his fiancée, Mary Kenney. Lewis is the national sales manager at hand-tool manufacturer Pratt-Read. E-mail him at dlewistools@att.net.

Jeffrey Volp, E’79, ME’83, has retired after thirty-five years with Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is now living in St. George, Utah.
