1940s
Julius Kendall, E’41, of Framingham, Massachusetts, writes his class
has “agreed to get together frequently. The major gathering is in
June at Northeastern in Ashland. In June 2003, eighteen classmates
met and had a nice discussion. After that, we met about every two
months at the Marriott in Newton for lunch. Here’s some news about
some of our classmates. Harvey Miller still works, as do Alex Struzzeiro
and myself, all at full-time jobs. Recently, we heard from Mark
Sigismund, in Philadelphia; Nilsson S. Bassett, in Newville, Pennsylvania;
Harry Bowen, in Poughkeepsie; Franklin Ellis, in Marshfield, Massachusetts;
and Robert Lipman, in Roseland, New Jersey. While we are becoming
a smaller, active group, we relish these get-togethers.” Of his
own activity, Kendall notes, “I still manage to travel quite a bit
on business. I am still engaged in engineering for several public
utilities on generating stations, dams and bridges, test and support
equipment for both helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, and dockside
support equipment for submarines and other types of naval vessels.”
