2000s
Stephen Gifford, AS’01, a first lieutenant in the Army, has returned from Iraq after a ten-month deployment. He was a tank platoon leader in Task Force 3-15 Infantry and a support platoon leader of Task Force 4-64 Armor, both parts of the Second Brigade, Third Infantry Division. Gifford received the Bronze Star for his service in Iraq. He and his wife, Holly (Amendola), BB’02, live in Savannah, Georgia.
Daniel Godwin, CJ’02, of Hanson, Massachusetts, is a new member of the town’s police department.
Emily Karwacki, AS’02, of Braintree, Massachusetts, is engaged to Eric Sheff of Newton. They met three years ago at one of Karwacki’s co-op jobs. Leon Hayward, BA’03, of Bothell, Washington, has signed a hockey contract with the Manchester (New Hampshire) Monarchs. He finished last season with the Monarchs after playing most of the season with the Richmond (Virginia) Renegades.
