Rose M. Fiore, MBA90, of East Boston, is a senior associate with Flansburgh Associates, an architectural firm based in Boston. She joined the company in 1997 as director of administration and human resources. Prior to Flansburgh, she worked for several architectural firms in Massachusetts and managed her own consulting company, which offered financial, human resource, strategic planning, and information systems services for architects, engineers, and computer software firms. Fiore has also lectured on business administration and communications at Harvard University Extension School and at the Boston Society of Architects annual Build Boston Conference. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the Boston Society of Architects, and cofounder of the Advisory Group, which consists of representatives from the eighteen largest architectural companies in the Boston area.
Nora (Lohan) Hutton, BB90, and Tom Hutton, BB92, celebrated the birth of Liam Thomas, their first child, on February 21. The family lives in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Steve Ostrovitz, CJ90, MCJ91, and his wife, Judy, announce the birth of their first child, Sophie, who was born in January. They live in Framingham, Massachusetts. Ostrovitz reports he has a busy solo law practice in Framingham, and hes an associate professor of criminal justice at Newbury College in Brookline.

Candace Harper, AS94, and Marquis Harper, AS98, live in Rumford, Rhode Island, with their children, Marquis Jr. and Aquila. The couple teach in the Community Preparatory School in Providence; she teaches fourth and fifth grade, and he teaches sixth grade. Marquis is also a coach with the New England Storm, a womens professional football team.

David R. Golberg, AS95, of Devon, Pennsylvania, writes, My wife, Chantal Eadeh-Golberg, AS94, and I are doing very well in our new home just outside Philadelphia. Im an assistant district attorney, and she is busy working in the family commercial real estate business. I visit Boston very often, and always walk through campus to keep up with the constant change. I recently returned from a six-week trek exploring the country, and was glad to see several NU stickers and shirts as far away as Billings, Montana. Hello to all. Lemuel Wiechels, BA96, of Brooklyn, New York, celebrated the birth of a daughter, Kayla, on April 2. He has worked for JP Morgan Chase (formerly Chase Manhattan and JP Morgan) in New York City since 1997, and has been in the ICS management training program since September 2000.
Karen Yau, L96, of Brooklyn, New York, is the new director of the Public Interest Law Firm Clinic at Syracuse Universitys College of Law. Yau left the Yale Law School, where she was the Robert M. Cover Clinical Teaching Fellow. Prior to her teaching fellowship, she was a litigation specialist with Vladeck, Waldman, Elias & Engelhard in New York, specializing in employment-related matters. From 1996 to 1998, she was a Skadden Fellow and staff attorney at the National Employment Law Project, advocating for employment rights of welfare recipients in the Work Experience Program. Yaus community involvement includes serving as an advisory board member for Community Voices Heard, an organization of welfare recipients, and as a participant in A Days Work, A Days Pay, a documentary about those in New Yorks Work Experience Program. She is a member of the Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York bars.
Ed Gafanhao, BA97, of Quincy, Massachusetts, got engaged to his college sweetheart, Ruth Goncalves, N99, of Randolph, Massachusetts. The wedding is planned for May 2003. He is a project manager for a flooring contractor, Allegheny Contract, and she is a registered nurse at Childrens Hospital in Boston.

Robert J. Dolan, MPA98, was elected the mayor of Melrose, Massachusetts, on November 6, 2001. He is president of the Melrose board of aldermen.
Penelope Nam, BA99, married Daniel Stephen on June 22. Nam has lived in New York City since graduation. Shes an assistant buyer of mens clothing for all Prada boutiques in the United States.
