1980s

Steven J. Elliott, BA’80, writes, “Hello, fellow classmates from 1980! It is hard to believe that we sat in Boston Garden twenty-two years ago. I have been in public accounting since even before graduation. I obtained a master’s degree in taxation (MST) in addition to an advanced tax certificate and a certificate in financial planning from Bentley College. I am currently a senior manager at Ernst & Young in Boston (since 1998) and have had some exciting things happen recently. I had the opportunity to take my first-ever trip out of the country this past March, a trip to Bangalore, India, to help set up a new office for Ernst & Young. I was there for almost three weeks. I hope to go back to connect with the many people I met there. Also, I work in the MST program at Northeastern; I am teaching a partnership class at the new downtown location and really enjoying it. It is amazing to have the feel of a campus while being in a hotel in the financial district. I live in Westwood, Massachusetts, with my family and send my best to all of you out there.” Elliott’s e-mail address is <steven.elliott@ey.com>.
