1940s

Harvey S. Miller, E’41, of Newton, Massachusetts, notes that his class held its sixtieth reunion in June 2001 at Northeastern’s Warren Conference Center and Inn in Ashland, Mass-achusetts. “We had a good turnout,” he adds.

Francis E. Harrington, E’46, of Knoxville, Tennessee, again passes along his suggestion for a combined reunion for the classes of 1946 and 1947. “Many I started with graduated during those years,” he comments.

Harold Bongarten, E’47, writes from Tucson, Arizona, “After a second retirement from the consulting business, this past year [2001] has been a very active and exciting period for Alma and me. With three high school graduations for grandchildren in different parts of the country and a son’s marriage in New York, May and June were very happy and fun-filled months. In addition, the Tucson Jewish community has been very kind in honoring me with the Man of the Year Award. My entire family’s attendance made the awards ceremony a most happy event. We then spent July and August in Newport Beach, California.”

George Fox, BA’48, of Los Angeles, California, shares his news: “Grace and I are now great-grandparents. I have been honored for my years of service to the Loma Linda University School of Medicine as a clinical professor.”
