Rachel (Castellon) Schwank, AS90, writes from Redding, Connecticut, So much has happened since I was last at NU. After living in Tokyo during the Gulf War and working in the investment market out of New York City, I spent two years living in Spain. In 1998, I joined my parents in running a construction inspection company in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania), which employed seventy-five people. The turn of the millennium brought many changes into my life. Stephen Schwank and I announced we were getting married. My parents were so happy they invited 200 guests to join us in celebrating our engagement on a three-level dinner cruise ship sailing along the Hudson and around the Statue of Liberty. Our wedding day, April 28, was the happiest day of my life. She notes that she is a faithful Red Sox fan, her husband is a die-hard Mets fan, and they look forward to interleague baseball games.
Marie H. (Statkus) Berardi, AS91, and husband, Michael, of Grafton, Massachusetts, celebrated the birth of their first child, daughter Madison Taylor, on September 8, 2001. Berardi is a pharmaceutical sales representative for McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a division of Johnson and Johnson. She also serves as a part-time independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay. Mark Conlon, BA91, of Denville, New Jersey, is married to Sharon Mary Kaszans. Their son, Dylan Christopher, was born on June 9, 2000.
Jason Levy, MBA91, and his wife, Cyndi, celebrated the birth of a son, William Maxwell, on October 29, 2001. Levy reports the whole family is doing well at their home in Dallas, Texas.
Joseph Dunlap, AS92, and his wife, Brenda, welcomed the birth of their first child, Elisa Lauren, on July 5, 2001. They live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Mansoor Ghori, MBA92, of Austin, Texas, is the new managing director of Transamerica Technology Finance in Austin. Ghori had been chief financial officer of an enterprise software company in Austin. Prior to that, he was a principal of Sternhill Partners, a Houston-based venture capital firm.
Allison Wildes Liset, UC92, of Sandwich, Massachusetts, founded Elegant Engagements, a wedding and event design company on Cape Cod, after a ten-year career in marketing and event planning on Bostons South Shore. Diane (Rita) OConnell, PAH92, and Kevin W. OConnell, BA92, of Franklin, Massachusetts, celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. They welcomed their second child, Megan Elizabeth, on September 20, 2001. She joins a big brother, Logan William. Kevin is a senior manager in the global risk management practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Diane spends time at home with the children.
Beverly (Swan) Stycos, BA92, of New York City, writes, Ive been across the United States and back again! After graduation, I moved to Los Angeles with Kim (Cofrancesco) Winterson to work in the music business. Did the rounds in promotion at Capitol/EMI records, IRS, Hollywood, and finally ended up selling music to TV shows and movies. A few years after the 1994 earthquake, I decided to move somewhere where the earth didnt shake . . . on to Maine, where I worked at WKIS Radio as an account executive (those co-ops at WBCN paid off!). Ive finally settled in the New York area. Did four years of ad sales for Radio & Records (R&R). Got married to my long-time guy, Marek Stycos, and we just had our first child on June 21. Rebecca Velez, GB92, and her husband, Kenneth Baker, celebrated the birth of a daughter, Ainsley Rose, on October 23, 2001. The family lives in Mount Arlington, New Jersey.
Peter Waldron, MBA92, and his wife, Deanna, welcomed the birth of their second daughter, Nicole, in August 2001. The family lives in Ashland, Massachusetts. Waldron is director of sales at Ionics, Inc., in Watertown.

Todd Donnelly, CJ94, of New Gloucester, Maine, writes, My wife and I just welcomed our second daughter, Kali, and will soon be celebrating our sixth anniversary. Nancy Sue Keller, L99, has been elected to a six-year term as a library trustee in Peabody, Massachusetts, where she and her husband, Joseph Bettencourt, live with their daughters Katarina and Alexsandra. An attorney with the firm Burns & Levinson in Boston, Keller has been admitted to the bar in the state of Massachusetts, the state of New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Keller is a member of the American, Massachusetts, and New York Bar Associations.
M. Christopher Shimkin, MBA99, of Millis, Massachusetts, is a member of the class of 2002 of the World Economic Forums 100 Global Leaders of Tomorrow. This group includes leaders from business, government, politics, and civil society who demonstrate leadership and commitment in addressing issues that extend beyond their immediate professional interests. Shimkin is the founder of Global Village Engineers, which is an international group of volunteer civil engineers, architects, and environmental scientists that encourages the rural poor to use local capacity to find sustainable solutions to community problems.
