Bruce A. Kilgallon, CJ81, of Pembroke, Massachusetts, reports that he and his fifteen-year-old daughter, Katelin, were return participants in the Appalachia Service Project, a national home-repair ministry that provides services to poverty-stricken residents of the Appalachian region. From June 30 through July 8, he and Katelin helped repair two homes in Tazewell County, Virginia.

As an adjunct faculty member with University College and the accounting group, he has taught more than 250 graduate and undergraduate accounting courses. He is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts and Maine. Crowleys corporate experience includes finance reporting and international tax at Bank of TokyoMitsubishi (BTM) Capital Corp., and accounting and auditing experience with Ernst & Young.

Gemma A. Williams, AS82, MA84, AGS89, of Honolulu, earned a doctorate in educational leadership at Floridas University of Sarasota (now Argosy University) in July. From July to September, she taught career decision making and introduction to psychology to disadvantaged students at Bethel College in South Africa while on a Rotary International grant for university teachers. She now is coordinator of the Maida Kamber Center for Career and Transfer Services at Kapi`olani Community College in Honolulu.

James E. Bruce Sr., CJ84, of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, was inspired by the events of September 11 to write and record a song entitled Coming Together (911), about the need for world unity. Bruce explains his motivation: The September 11 incident was certainly a wake-up call. We should no longer take precious life and each other for granted. For seventeen years, Bruce has owned and operated a full-service flower shop, Mr. J. Floral Specialist, located on Roxburys Warren Street. He says his preparation at Northeastern was responsible, in a major way, for his business successes. To help other deserving students benefit from a Northeastern education, Bruce, an experienced performer who sings in twenty languages, plans to give 20 percent of the proceeds from sales of his song to a general scholarship fund at the university. Debi Deltano Walsh, BA86, and her husband, Brian, celebrated the birth of their third son, Ian Jeffrey, on December 1, 2001. We also have two other little guys, Kevin, age three, and Colin, age two, she writes. We live in Melrose, Massachusetts, and I am at home with my boys full time. Dont miss the working world at all. James W. Bucking, CJ88, of Needham, Massachusetts, chairs the Massachusetts Bar Associations labor and employment law section. A partner in the law firm Foley Hoag Eliot of Boston and Washington, D.C., Bucking has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar Associations labor and employment law section council since 1996. He received his law degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Bucking is the deputy of Foley Hoags labor and employment department. He lectures and writes on various aspects of labor and employment law. He recently authored "A Guide for Massachusetts Employers: The Basics of Federal and State Labor and Employment Law." He and his wife, Catherine, have two children, Grace and Christopher.
