1940s

Warren H. Thompson, E’41, reports that he has moved and is now living in the Oak Knoll Healthcare Center in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Bernard Glazier, L’43, of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, notes he passed the bar exam in 1943 and finally retired after fifty-seven years “of a very satisfying law practice.” He says he’d like to hear from classmates.

Henry A. Kingsbury, E’44, of Bradenton, Florida, retired as wastewater manager for Manatee County Utilities. He’s eighty years old, works a few hours a week for World Design, Inc., and is still licensed as a professional engineer in Florida and Maine.

Eleanor Edwards Blackwell, BB’47, of Washington, North Carolina, writes, “I had the unexpected pleasure of having lunch with Ruth Kenyon Troughman here in Washington. Ruth was in the class of 1949. What a gabfest we had! Miss Sweet, Jean Holman, Miss Green, Pauling Chellis, Miss Rowe, and the list goes on. Fond memories and such a treat to have a Bouvé grad living close by.”

Pete Ziner, E’48, of Nashua, New Hampshire, reports Ziner and Rossetti, Inc., was retired at the end of 1998 after providing twenty-five years of consulting expertise. “Now I spend my time skiing and playing golf,” Pete writes. “I also have been volunteering at the Senior PGA Golf Tournament at Nashawtuc Country Club (Concord, Massachusetts) and was presented the Very Important Volunteer Award for 1999, followed by being named the outstanding volunteer for 1999 by the Senior PGA Tour.”
