1930s

Abe Kline, L’30, celebrated his ninety-fourth birthday on June 7. He’s living in Whispering Knoll in Edison, New Jersey, and still takes portrait photos, enjoys reading, and tells tales of “olden days.”

William Pope, E’35, of Alexandria, Virginia, is a member of the National Safety Council’s Safety and Health Hall of Fame. He retired in 1972 as director of the U.S. Office of Safety Management after a thirty-five-year career, which included service in the Navy during World War II and jobs in the U.S. Departments of Labor, State, and Interior.

Eugene R. Blinn, LLB’36, JD’43, of Newton Centre, Massachusetts, writes, “I am approaching my ninetieth year but will always remember the glorious days at NU Law.” He served in the Navy during World War II and was a sales manager for Old Mr. Boston Distillers for many years.
