backpacking trip through Africa and is a senior technical editor at IBM.

Conrad Vinkels, SET'90, married Carol Davenport on September
4, 1998. They live in Franklin, Connecticut. Vinkels is an engineering
manager for TIGHITCO, an aerospace manufacturer. "I would like to

Michael Hoefer, BA'91, of Brattleboro, Vermont, is enrolled in
the Internet strategy management graduate program at Marlboro College.
He and his wife are expecting their first child in June. Hoefer says he's
hoping to return to the Boston area.

Alison Hill Sweeney, BA'91, N'94, and her husband, John Sweeney,
E'74, of Alpharetta, Georgia, announce the adoption of their first child,
Samuel, who was born last July. John is marketing director at Scientific-Atlanta,

Gary Nourse, E'92, and Sherri (Harris) Nourse, BB'92,
celebrated the birth of their first child, Alicia Carolynn, on January
4.
Len Perlmutter, CJ'91, MJ'92, and Kristine Raquel (Malik)
Perlmutter, MA'94, welcomed their second son, Kent, in January.
Sean Walsh, BA'91, of Warminster, Pennsylvania, is a transportation
and logistics specialist with Lucent Technologies. He and his wife, Simona,
have two daughters, Julia and Samantha. He sends along congratulations

Joseph W. Pieri, AS'92, GB'95, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, is
assistant director of educational support services at Case Western Reserve
University. His fiancée is in the school's MBA program. They plan
to live in the Cleveland area after she graduates.
Viki Vale, AS'92, MEd'97, is working as a social studies and
language arts teacher in the Gloucester, Massachusetts, public schools.
She also coaches basketball and track. Vale is engaged to marry Paul Salah

vice president of corporate services for Harvard Management, where he has
worked for the past eighteen years. Correia also serves as chairman of
the board of Victory Programs, a nonprofit organization.
Andrea (Kelly) Donaruma, CJ'93, of Brockton, Massachusetts, was
married last October and has a daughter. She works for the Massachusetts

Sarah Terluco Taggart, AS'93, writes, "My TV and film production
company, which I started four years ago with my husband, John, is thriving.
We coproduced a documentary titled Just Melvin, which was in competition
at the 2000 Sundance Film Festival. Although we didn't walk away with any
awards, it was extremely well received. Movie critic Roger Ebert attended
a screening and reviewed the movie for his syndicated column and gave it
a thumbs up. We are currently producing an animated/live-action pilot for
VH1 and developing three feature-film ideas. We hope to receive funding

Sue Westcott Alessandri, MA'94, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina,
married Todd Alessandri on March 11. Both are working toward their PhDs
