Stephen Goldberg, BA'80, of Woodbridge, Connecticut, is president of Alert Security Systems, which installs burglar, fire, and closed-circuit video systems.

Joel Russo, BA'80, lives in Merrick, Long Island, New York, with his wife of thirteen years, Carla, and their children, Robert and twin girls Arielle and Sofia. Russo is the Northeast regional sales manager for Valleylab, a division of Tyco Healthcare. Cheryl Supowit, BA'80, of Needham, Massachusetts, is a principal with Forman, Itzkowitz, Berenson and LaGreca in Newton. She began working with the firm in 1980 and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.

Michael Chmura, AS'81, received a master's degree in business communication and public relations from Emerson College last year. He is the news director at Harvard Law School.

Paul Cleri, E'81, ME'91, and his wife, Lorraine, of Needham, Massachusetts, celebrated the birth of twin daughters, Natalie and Alexis, on January 4. The girls join older brother Nathaniel. Russell W. Coombs Jr., BA'81, of Lake Worth, Florida, is a captain with Delta Air Lines.

Heather A. Daley-Leach, LA'81, opened a medical practice in south Texas in March.

Diane Deveau, N'81, and her husband, Kevin Fletcher, of Nyack, New York, have five children-the youngest two biological and the older three adopted from Vietnam two years ago. "Happily living just outside NYC," she says. "Not much time now for a nursing career, but I work for the Rockland Parent-Child Center, a local nonprofit." Richard H. Dunham, BA'82, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, is the payroll tax manager and human resources officer for State Street Corporation in North Quincy.

Steve Egna, BA'82, of Niskayuna, New York, wants his "long-lost, out-of-touch friends" to know he "made it all the way back to where he started his post-N.U. life-the New York State capital district." Carl B. Roberts, E'82, of Paradise View, Saint Johns, Antigua, is general manager of Cable and Wireless Dominica. He received a master's in business administration in 1995 from the University of West Indies.

Rosalind Berman-Myerson, AS'83, and her husband, Frederic, recently purchased a condominium in Quincy, Massachusetts. Karen M. Frangos, BB'83, completed two years of residency in naturopathic medicine and has opened a private practice in Portland, Oregon, emphasizing sports medicine and women's health. Elisabeth A. Fuchs, BB'83, GB'86, of Newton, Massachusetts, is a small-animal veterinarian in Boston.

Mike Laverdure, MJ'83, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, is a senior security manager with Sanders, a Lockheed Martin company. He formerly worked for the CIA and as a security consultant for a Washington, D.C., company. He and his wife have two children. Bill Price, BA'83, is vice president and chief financial officer of MarketSoft. He formerly worked for NextPoint Networks, MediQual Systems, and Arthur Andersen.

Linda M. Rasmussen, MPA'83, was named director of gifts at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, in January. "I formerly worked at Deerfield Academy as capital gifts officer in a $125 million campaign," she writes. "Hampshire will also be in a campaign mode, so I am excited by this new challenge." She adds, "I have not forgotten my interest in politics and I watch for opportunities to contribute in Amherst, where I have lived since 1996."

Worden Willis, MBA'83, has been involved in rescuing Old English sheepdogs since 1978. "Last year, I placed thirty-one 'Sheepies' in new homes," she says. Mario A. Vecchiarello, E'83, ME'87, of Peabody, Massachusetts, has been promoted to principal at Camp Dresser and McKee.

Donn R. Heath, BA'84, of Winchester, Massachusetts, is a residential real estate agent for Coldwell Banker/Hunneman. He formerly worked for Office Depot.

Patricia McGaughan, MBA'84, and her husband, Brian, of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, recently welcomed their first child, Elizabeth.

Jayne E. Costa, AS'85, is an assistant principal at Narraguagus High School in Harrington, Maine. She's also a lieutenant in the Navy Reserves and a reserve police officer. Costa received a master's degree in secondary education from UMass Amherst, taught high school English in Rumford, Maine, and was an assistant principal at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in South Paris.

Lisa M. Evangelista, CJ'85, of Medford, Massachusetts, was inducted into the Medford High School Hall of Fame for outstanding dedication to the sports and cheerleading programs at the school.

Loren Gelber, PHD'85, recently joined Universal Research in Pompano Beach, Florida, as executive director of clinical research. The firm manages community-based clinical trials in southeast Florida.

Suzanne Wells McGrath, BA'85, of Seattle, Washington, is employed as a yoga instructor after working eleven years in executive sales at Xerox. She recently took a six-month backpacking trip to the Middle East and Eastern Europe. She said she and her husband are enjoying their eight-month-old daughter, Lilly.

Mary Ellen McKeever, UC'85, of Framingham, Massachusetts, graduated from the Simmons College women's MBA program in 1998 and now is the director of Bell Atlantic's New England Major Customer Service Center. She has a daughter who is a senior at Babson College and a son who is a freshman at North Carolina State University.

James W. Bucking, CJ'88, is a partner in the Boston law firm Foley, Hoag, Eliot. He specializes in labor and employment law and represents corporations and other employees in union, wage, and hour discrimination and other workplace matters. Bucking and his wife, Catherine (DiClemente) Bucking, N'89, live in Needham, Massachusetts, with their children, Grace and Christopher.

Bridget L. Breen, PAH'89, and her husband, John, of Kingston, Massachusetts, celebrated the birth of a daughter, Arianna L., on March 3, 1999. Breen is a staff pharmacist with Stop and Shop.

Launa Cebula Burke, N'89, and Bill Burke, BA'88, of Eagle River, Alaska, have been married for eleven years and have four children, Brendan, Joshua, Kathleen, and Sierra. Katy Chinn, FD'89, of Milton, Massachusetts, is a pediatric dental hygienist with Children's Dental Health Center in Stoughton. She writes, "I recently bought a house with my fiancé and am getting married in September."

Steve Day, E'89, of Bangor, Maine, married Sarah Johnston in July 1999. He is completing work on a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the University of Maine at Orono.

Robert Jackson, AS'89, of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, is a sales representative for J. L. Hammett and coaches a local wrestling team. He says he "wishes many blessings and prosperity for all N.U. graduates and students."

Chris Mello, SET'89, and his wife, Sheri, of Apex, North Carolina, celebrated the birth of their second child, Kyle James, on February 9.

Hillary Ornstein-Friedman, BB'89, of Chester, New Jersey, sends greetings to her old N.U. friends. She writes, "I am a busy stay-at-home mom with two daughters, Stefanie and Allie. Been married to husband, Jonathan, since 1993."

Catherine E. Ravens, UC'89, UC'92, and Fred J. Ravens Jr., ME'68, of East Falmouth, Massachusetts, announce the birth of their thirteenth grandchild, Noah, on March 9, in Galveston, Texas. Catherine is assistant editor of the Falmouth Garden Club Quarterly. Fred will soon be taking over the duties of president of the Quarter Century Wireless Club.
