Virginia P. Evans, Ed'70, of Brattleboro, Vermont, completed her master of divinity degree at Andover Newton Theological School last December, was ordained into the Christian ministry in January, and now serves as pastor of the First Congrega-tional Church of Whately, Massachusetts.

Gerald Hurley, MEd'70, CAGS'79, has been teaching in the Burlington, Massachusetts, public schools for more than twenty-five years. He currently teaches eighth-grade special education classes at Marshall Simonds Middle School. He says he's always worked in music, which was his minor in college. He performs regularly at Siros restaurant in Hingham and Sirosfx in Braintree. He was a guest performer at the BayBank Golf Classic draw last summer at the Westin Hotel in Waltham.

Cornelius G. McLaughlin Jr., UC'71, is the new director of campus safety at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. McLaughlin previously worked at the University of Missouri, Tuskegee University in Alabama, and Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Henry Ziewacz, LA'71, of Wethersfield, Connecticut, has been employed as an associate accountant for the state of Connecticut for the past fifteen years. He says he maintains an active interest in psychology, his major at Northeastern.

Konstantine J. Doukas, BA'72, of Arlington, Massachusetts, is a sourcing manager for American Science and Engineering's cargo search X-ray inspection business.

James P. Goodwin, BA'72, and Lynne (Caracostas) Goodwin, Ed'73, will celebrate their twenty-eighth anniversary in June. He is a vice president with AIG and she is a teacher in Sparta, New Jersey, where they live with their two children. Jim Cram, LA'73, of Hollis, New Hampshire, writes, "As an export manager, I have had the privilege of building projects in ten countries. Americans who have not traveled have so much to learn, so much to understand. 'Quality of life' is not measured by the size of your local shopping mall."

John M. Flynn, BA'73, returned to Northeastern ten years ago to obtain a certificate in paralegal studies and now works as a senior litigation paralegal for Craig and Macauley in Boston. Michael J. Graceffa, Ed'73, and his wife, Sharyn, of Littleton, Massachusetts, celebrated the birth of a son, Michael, on December 24, 1999. He joins sister Brett.

Sandy Greenberg-Wunder, MEd'73, is a speech-language specialist with the public schools in Linden, New Jersey. Her daughter, Johanna, graduated with high honors from the University of Washington ("West Coast Huskies") last year.

Francis A. Dibella, E'74, of Roslindale, writes, "I welcome and encourage all mechanical engineering 1974 classmates to join the new Engineering Alumni Society and get active in one of the alumni committees."

Bill Griffin, ME'74, is vice president and general counsel for National Water and Power. He and his wife, Kris Anderson, live in Laguna Beach, California.

Malcolm Paradise, E'74, ME'74, of Nashua, New Hampshire, writes, "I have just completed my fifteenth year with kforce.com, formerly Romac International and Source Engineering. Our oldest daughters have completed college, Wells and Smith. The eldest, Sandra, is on the road for an Off-Broadway production of The King and I. The second daughter, Kara, is an assistant editor for Transparent Languages, a New Hampshire startup. My son, Anthony, is a freshman electrical engineering major at WPI. My third daughter, Chistina, is selecting a college where she'll begin her freshman year in the fall. Our fourth daughter, Julieane, is a few years away from college (at least she's got a few years between the middle two and herself so we can replenish the tuition bucket before she starts). Dana M. Boyadjian, E'75, of Crosswicks, New Jersey, was recently promoted to technical manager with IT Corporation in New Jersey.

W. Kim Furman, LA'75, of Sarasota, Florida, is practicing orthopedic surgery, specializing in total joint replacement. He recently started an Internet business in health care and prevention <www.mai-biz.com>.

Christine Crugnola Petruniw, E'75, ME'77, of Canterbury, Connecticut, writes, "Looking forward to the twenty-fifth class reunion in June."

Arie BarJosef, AS'76, is a Northeastern cooperative education coordinator for the geology, civil engineering, mathematics, and physics programs. He received a master's degree in engineering geology at the Israel Institute of Technology and worked for Haley and Aldrich from 1978 to 1997. He also does private consulting overseas. "My daughter, who was born while I was a senior at N.U., is a violin player and assistant concertmaster with the Boston Symphony Orchestra," he writes.

Robert L. Sherman, Ed'76, has been the director of special education for the public school system in Plymouth, Massachusetts, for the past fifteen years. He lives in Norwell with his wife, Martha, and son, Matthew.

Sue Sullivan, BA'76, of Easton, Massachusetts, reports that she and her husband, John, have adopted four-year-old Jalisa, who has lived with the couple since she was two months old. The Sullivans have six other children, ranging in age from sixteen to twenty-three. They also have a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter. Evelyn M. Thomson-Lakey, FD'76, is a senior lecturer at Old Dominion University's School of Dental Hygiene in Norfolk, Virginia. She is the author of the textbook, Exercises in Oral Radiography Techniques, published in January by Prentice-Hall.

Chris Aldieri, BA'78, of Miami, Florida, is general manager of the 615-room Hyatt Regency Miami. He formerly worked as general manager of the Hyatt Key West Resort and Marina.

Steven W. Kalczynski, CJ'78, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, recently returned from China, where he lived for nine years, and is now working as director of franchise operations for Starwood Hotels and Resorts. He reports he's "happily married" and has two children, ages ten and five.

Michael R. Marcus, BA'78, delivered an address, "Why Plan at the Start of Y2K?" to the monthly meeting of the Bergen-Passaic chapter of the New Jersey Association of Life Insurance Underwriters and Financial Advisors.
