Michele (Barry) Abbott,
BA'90, and her husband, Stephen, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, welcomed a son, Garrett William, on June 13, 1999. Abbott is a divisional controller for the Red Cross. Elizabeth Kahn Alexander, CJ'90, and Mark Alexander, AS'90, of Hamden, Connecticut, have both taken another step in the educational process. Elizabeth received a sixth-year degree in education foundations from Southern Connecticut State University. She is a high school English teacher and says she is "having a wonderful time teaching mystery and sci-fi courses to seniors." Michael J. Mozzer, CJ'90, of Belmont, Massachusetts, and his wife, Karen, welcomed a son, Zachary Ryan, on November 13, 1999. Mozzer is assistant director for operations for the drug control program at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Brenda (Keough) Wolff, N'90, and Ken Wolff, CS'90, welcomed a daughter, Laura Jean, on June 12, 1999. The family, which includes two sons, Ryan and Connor, lives in Peabody, Massachusetts.

Shari (Van Alstyne) Chamberlain, BA'91, and her husband, Michael, of Bellingham, Massachusetts, welcomed a son, Jeremy, on July 20, 1999. He joins sister Brianna. Shari is a certified public accountant.

Leslie Formby, AS'91, of Tucson, Arizona, writes, "Life here has been very good. My husband, Paul Lavertu, and I have had a busy few years." They have two daughters, Camden and Ciarri. "Named after County Kerry, Ireland, where we honeymooned," says Formby. "It's hard to believe Ciarri already is two. It is a joy to watch her play with her big sister, now almost four years old. I am enjoying my part-time work as activities director at our neighborhood community center. We miss New England and our families but are enjoying the unique Southwestern culture and the sun."

Janice Johnson, MLS'91, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, is a supervisor of applications at MediTech. Dan Joyce, AS'91, married Penny Ernst on September 18, 1999, in Belleview, Iowa. They traveled to Hawaii for their honeymoon and live in Falls Church, Virginia. Joyce is a territory sales manager for Honeywell, and Ernst is a nurse at Fairfax Hospital. While at N.U., Joyce was president of the Council for University Programs, where he served as executive director of the Bob Dylan concert; an associate justice on the Student Court; manager of the former Club Ell Café in the Student Center; creator of the N.U. Alive! Festival; and worked at nuArts.

Elaine (Peters) Lyons, MBA'91, and her husband, Bill, celebrated the birth of a son, Brendan, in March 1999. They live in Fairport, New York.

Paul K. Masse, PAH'91, of Stockholm, Maine, reports he has taken a job with Community Pharmacy in Fort Kent. "It's a small pharmacy chain, but growing," he says. "Also acquired my Class A license, so now I'm a truck-drivin' pharmacist."

Sue Ann Mogavero McGrann, BB'91, and her husband, Sean, of Framingham, Massachusetts, celebrated the birth of a daughter, Elizabeth Lois, on October 25, 1999.

Mark Nolin, BB'91, and Maura Nolin, AS'91, live in Cumberland, Maine, with their daughters, Delaney and Mikela. Maura received a master's degree in education of the deaf from Gallaudet University and is an educational interpreter in the Cumberland school district. Mark is a rehabilitation supervisor for VNA/Home Health Services in Portland.

Michael Powers, BB'91, of Gainesville, Florida, received a doctorate in sports medicine from the University of Virginia and is an assistant professor in the athletic training program at the University of Florida.

Beth (Rigberg) Rapaport, BA'91, of Sharon, Massachusetts, is assistant director of accounting at J. Baker, in Canton. She and her husband, Ira, have two children, Robyn and Russell.

Eric Schneider, BA'91, of Castro Valley, California, has a "new, big motorcycle, has started an Internet company, and is looking for investors."

Tom Armas, CJ'92, finished his Marine Corps enlistment as a captain and works for the Secret Service in New York City. He and his wife, Danielle, and sons, Austin and Tiger, live in Connecticut.

Michael Colena, CS'92, and Teresa (Buenpacifico) Colena, BA'94, of Lowell, Massachusetts, welcomed a son, Nathaniel, on December 14, 1999. Michael is a senior software engineer at Oracle in Burlington, Massachusetts. Teresa is a financial analyst with First USA Paymentech in Salem, New Hampshire. Dave Herford, E'93, is an industrial engineer with Federal Express in Newark, New Jersey. He and his wife, Maureen, live in Woodridge, New Jersey. Herford earned a master's degree in engineering management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Mark J. Hutchings, SET'93, of Pelham Manor, New York, received an MBA from the Edinburgh University Management School in Scotland. He is self-employed.

Margie Ellis McGehee, BA'93, writes, "Since graduating, I have spent one summer in Shanghai, earned my law degree, traveled for five months all over Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, married Myles Carter (a former N.U. student), earned an LL.M. in taxation, and passed the bar exam in both Washington and Arizona. I am now an associate attorney with Quarles and Brady in Phoenix, Arizona. My practice focuses on eastate planning for individuals and representation of nonprofits. We are expecting our first child. Jason Levine, AS'93, married Allison Jane Taylor in April 1999. They live in a 150-year-old house in New Castle, Delaware. Levine designs the sports section for the News Journal in Wilmington.

Jose "Joe" Queiros, CJ'93, MJ'94, lives in Florida and is a federal agent. He says he will soon be traveling to South America. Chris Varley, CJ'93, of Babylon, New York, is pursuing teacher certification on Long Island. He coaches high school football.

David S. Brown, CJ'94, of Dallas, teaches at Creekview High School in Carrolton and is working toward certification in secondary and elementary education. Jennifer B. Butler, CJ'94, of Lenexa, Kansas, received a law degree from the University of Missouri­Kansas City in 1998. She is an attorney in sales and marketing for the Kansas City Power and Light Company. "Northeastern was a wonderful school and it prepared me well," she says. "The professors in the College of Criminal Justice were wonderful."

Tim Chace, AS'94, GB'96, is director of student services and guidance counseling at West Warwick (Rhode Island) High School. He and his wife, Colleen, bought a house in Hope, Rhode Island. Stephanie A. Faren, N'94, of Huntington Beach, California, is a public health nurse with the Los Angeles County Office of AIDS Programs and Policy. Last fall, she began a master's program in nursing and public health at Cal State­Long Beach.

Larry Beard, MBA'96, writes, "Since leaving the Northeast and moving back to the Midwest, I have changed industries and am now back in the auto industry. I joined Siebe Automotive, which was renamed Invensys after a merger. At the end of January, the automotive group was sold off and I will become a part of Cooper Tire and Rubber. My current position is president of North American operations. On a personal note, Emily has graduated from high school and is a freshman at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ryan D. Provencher, E'99, of Forth Worth, Texas, is engaged to marry Jeannette Hakansson. He is a project engineer with Trinity Industries in Dallas.

Bethany Stancliff Walls, AS'99, married Mark Walls on April 28, 1999. The couple live in Shelton, Connecticut. Walls is the marketing communications editor for Inter-tel/Executone, a computer telephone company.
