The Capstone course provides a faculty-guided team project for students completing course work in urban and regional policy studies. The intent is for students to utilize what they have learned in their academic coursework in a real-world professional setting working on a project for a client.  This semester the students worked with Street-Works  and the City of Quincy on a plan for the redevelopment of the Quincy Center MBTA Station, which lies at the heart of the New Quincy Center redevelopment project.  The New Quincy Center project will inject $1.6 billion dollars of office, commercial and residential space and infrastructure into Quincy’s historic downtown.  Divided into three project teams the students presented their proposals for the redevelopment plans to their professors and peers on December 13th.
