If you don’t, what better way to find out than by coming to a meeting of the
Anyone! You don’t have to be a linguistics student to attend our meetings. Anyone with an interest in language is welcome. If you’re considering a major or minor in linguistics, it’s a great way to meet other students and learn about what we do.
We try to plan fun activities that relate to linguistics and language, like discussions, films, language and word games, presentations, and of course FOOD! Linguistics students take a variety of classes and co-ops, so we share our experiences and learn about new opportunities.
Meetings are often on the 5th floor of Holmes Hall. Other meetings may take place at restaurants, bookstores, conferences, etc.
