This morning students in Boston, Seattle, Charlotte and Silicon Valley reached an important milestone in their budding career as data analysts – graduating from the Level program with honors. Level’s winter 2016 cohort of students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and took the program for very diverse reasons.
In the past 8 weeks they become confident with Excel, R, SQL and Tableau – essential tools in any data analysts toolkit. The students were also were introduced to the basics of predictive analytics, machine learning and cloud computing. Level enjoyed visits from guest speakers from the likes of Starbucks, Amazon, KPMG and Google who shared their valuable insight and industry context. Students reinforced all that they learned by undertaking capstone projects in the last 3 weeks of the program where they worked with real datasets, solving real problems, alongside Level’s employer partners.

In the final week of the program Level hosted a series of career days to kickstart the job search process. Students completed hiring tests, met one on one with recruiters and went on site visits to companies like Red Ventures and Amazon.
As Level’s winter bootcamp winds down, our graduates are kicking off their job search process armed with the skillset to launch a successful career in data analytics. We wish them the best of luck in the weeks and months to come.
