Noreen won in the Graduate Division with her poster entitled “Transcriptional Regulation of Alkaloid Biosynthesis in Catharanthus roseus.” and Daniel won in the Undergraduate Division with his poster entitled “Increased alkaloid production from cell cultures of the California poppy through elicitation and in situ product extraction.”

Both Noreen and Daniel will be representing Northeastern University and the Chemical Engineering Department at the Annual International Conference in San Francisco, California, in November 2012.
