How can we move beyond the idea that online courses are onsite courses that are just offered remotely?  The first step is to understand that multimedia learning presents challenges that are not as prevalent in onsite courses.  During this Research Now, we will discuss how the limited capacity of human cognition can be mitigated by nine strategies when designing online courses.
