The Global Classroom: Leveraging Classroom Diversity for Learning


Since 2005, the total percentage of students at Northeastern University who are classified as international students has increased from 7.5% to 20.7% in 2012. While the number of graduate international students has steadily increased from 20.2% in 2005 to 31.8% in 2012, the number of undergraduate international students has grown exponentially from 4.8% in 2007 to 14.7% in 2012. At the same time, Northeastern has an incredibly diverse group of faculty. This workshop will focus on ways to leverage an increasingly global classroom to maximize learning.
