“At Northeastern we measure success in many ways, starting with the outstanding achievements of our graduates and the path-breaking scholarship of our faculty,” said Dean Jeremy Paul. “But it is gratifying to see our work recognized today with a 28 point jump over three years in our overall U.S. News & World Report rankings and a rise to 14th for our nationally renowned health law program. Northeastern remains unique among law schools in providing students with nearly one full year of practical experience in addition to a robust and rigorous academic curriculum. As training for new lawyers is increasingly hard to find, our rapidly growing reputation should serve as a signal to employers everywhere to take a fresh look at Northeastern. Our graduates receive the type of hands-on education those in our profession have long championed as ideal. “

According to US News, schools are rated “based on a variety of factors, including acceptance rates, standardized test scores and grade-point averages of incoming students, and academic experts’ opinions about program excellence.”
