Congratulations to Mary Bonauto ’87, who has secured a huge win for non-biological parental rights. The SJC's unanimous ruling applies to all unmarried parents, not just same-sex couples. Bonauto, civil rights project director for GLAD and lead attorney in Partanen v. Gallagher, said “the real beneficiaries here are the children.”
