1.1.15 -  Olivia Singer '15 has been has been offered a National Labor Relations Board Honors Program Position at the agency's General Counsel Headquarters in Washington, DC. The NLRB's Honors Program is highly competitive and candidates are selected on the basis of merit. Selection is based on the consideration of many factors including academic achievement; law journal or other relevant writing experience; relevant labor relations and/or law courses; moot court competition, legal aid, and legal clinic experience; and summer and/or part-time employment, particularly experience dealing with labor and employment matters.

"I am thrilled to have been selected to work in the National Labor Relations Board Office of the General Counsel. I am excited to begin a career working to protect the rights of workers to collectively bargain. It is an honor to join a strong tradition of Northeastern labor lawyers," said Singer. Her assignments at the NLRB's General Counsel Headquarters will include rotations of work in the Division of Enforcement Litigation, the Division of Advice, and the Contempt, Compliance, and Special Litigation Branch of the Division of Legal Counsel.
