07.01.12 — "Not in My Back Yard,” the cover story in Northeastern Law Magazine's winter 2012 issue, was selected as one of 100 Grand Award winners out of more than 3,300 entries in the APEX 24th annual Awards for Publication Excellence competition. The article, written by Elaine McArdle, focused on Northeastern law graduates, including MacArthur "genius" Marie-Therese Connolly '84, who are leading the national movement to end elder abuse.

“This is thrilling news," said Deborah Feldman, editor of the magazine. "Elaine is a brilliant and deserving writer, and we are very proud of the amazing work of our graduates showcased in this piece.”
