The Research and Instruction Librarians work to provide effective research assistance.  We can show you how to use the research materials or suggest resources that might help you. We can explain which resources are good for certain kinds of research, e.g., the uses of legal encyclopedias, treatises, hornbooks, legal periodicals, digests, reporters, statutes, and legal research databases.  We can even help you prepare for research on your co-op.

NUSL students who wish to arrange an appointment should contact a Research and Instruction Librarian.  Faculty members may contact their library liaison or the Research and Instruction Librarians.
