Summer 2017 Coop Position: Human Rights Research Assistant

PHRGE seeks to hire an upper-level NUSL student as a co-op Human Rights Research Assistant (HRRA) for the Summer Quarter of 2017. Your primary task will be to undertake research in support of PHRGE’s Visiting Scholar, Alfred Brownell, an internationally-acclaimed human rights lawyer from Liberia and founder of the organization, Green Advocates. Mr. Brownell has spent two decades working on the frontier between environmental law and human rights in West Africa.

Co-op Work-Study Position

Each semester, PHRGE offers a Program Coordinator position to a work-study-qualified Northeastern undergrad. As an integral member of the PHRGE team, the Program Coordinator participates in all aspects of PHRGE's work, including event planning, program administration, communications (including social media) and various research projects. Strong communication and writing skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks and a knowledge of basic computer applications are required.
