JD with Concentration in Health Policy and Law
The JD with concentration in Health Policy and Law is designed for current law students who wish to practice in the fast-growing field of health law, or enhance their knowledge of health policy. This in-depth program helps prepare lawyers who aim to work with healthcare providers and insurers, government regulatory agencies, firms handling pharmaceutical products liability and toxic tort cases, and NGOs and community-based organizations.
Graduate Health Law Certificate
If you work in the healthcare industry and are looking to expand your legal knowledge, but are not quite ready to pursue a master’s degree, we offer a 12-credit Graduate Certificate in Health Law. This certificate arises directly from the need for more professionals with legal expertise in the highly regulated field of healthcare. The certificate is designed specifically to provide professionals with the skills necessary to understand, navigate and leverage the legal issues that arise within the healthcare field and to work effectively with counsel when a lawyer’s involvement is necessary. Students can apply their credits from this program to the Master of Legal Studies later on if desired.
LLM with Concentration in Health Policy and Law
Northeastern offers a concentration in health policy and law, which is open to international students and those who hold a JD who wish to practice in the fast-growing field of health law, or enhance their knowledge of health policy.
MLS with Concentration in Health Law
For non-lawyer professionals who work regularly with lawyers and legal issues, the Master of Legal Studies with a concentration in health law provides the practical knowledge needed to more effectively address legal issues in health-related industries and organizations.
