Registration, Thursday evening’s welcome reception and Sunday morning sessions will be held at the Westin Copley Place Hotel located at 10 Huntington Avenue.Friday’s plenary and break-out sessions will be held at Northeastern University School of Law. Saturday sessions will be held at Harvard Law School.
Northeastern University is located one mile southwest on Huntington Avenue from the Westin Copley Place Hotel. It is a 10-minute walk or three stops outbound on the MBTA’s Green Line E train (Heath Street) from Copley Station across from the hotel to the Northeastern stop. The Northeastern University Campus Map shows the location of all conference sites. Registration, breakfast, keynote address and opening plenary will be held in Ell Hall and Blackman Auditorium. Concurrent sessions will be held at the School of Law in Dockser Hall. Lunch will be at the Curry Student Center Ballroom. Parking is available in the Renaissance Park Garage. Parking vouchers will be available at the registration and information tables on Friday.
Harvard Law School is located at the corner of Everett Street and Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge approximately 3½ miles from the hotel. Shuttle buses will be available for registrants on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. for travel to Harvard. It also is accessible on public transportation by taking the MBTA’s Orange Line inbound (towards Oak Grove) five stops from Back Bay Station to Downtown Crossing and transferring to the Red Line train (towards Alewife) to Harvard Square. From Harvard station, either walk north through Harvard Yard to the Law School or take the Church Street exit from the T station, turn right at street level, and walk north on Massachusetts Avenue along Cambridge Common. Cross over to the Law School at Gannett House. (Travel time: 40 minutes total, 10 minutes from Harvard Station). The Harvard Law School Map shows the location of all conference sites. Breakfast, plenary, concurrent sessions and lunch will be held in Wasserstein Hall. Saturday’s wine & cheese reception will be in Maxwell/Dworkin. Friday Night Group Dinners
We're excited to welcome you to Boston and have chosen some of our favorite restaurants for optional Friday night group dinners. This will be a great way to meet fellow registrants from around the world. If you would like to participate, please go to our reservation page to reserve your space. Please note there are 12 seats at each dinner; and while the free ticket reserves your space, dinner's cost is not included.
To assist in future conference planning and to provide feedback to our colleagues regarding their presentations, please take a minute to complete a session evaluation for each concurrent session and workshop you attend during the conference as well as and the overall conference evaluation. To complete an evaluation for an individual session, you will need the session date, time, and name. All results are anonymous, but are critical to the continued development of future externship conferences.
