Krishnan

the D'Amore-McKim School
of
Business
Administration as an Assistant
Professor of Finance in September 2008. He holds a B.E. in Electrical
Engineering from Delhi University and a Ph.D. in Finance from Boston
College.
Prior to joining Northeastern, Dr. Krishnan taught courses in Financial
Management and Investments at Boston College and University of
Connecticut.
Research
Interests: Dr.
Krishnan's
research
interests
are
in
empirical
corporate finance with
focus on entrepreneurial finance, venture capital, angel financing,
IPOs, corporate governance, banking, and financial intermediation. His
work has been published in the Review
of
Financial
Studies, Journal
of
Corporate
Finance, and Financial Management. He has
presented papers at high level academic meetings such as the American Finance Association annual meetings, Western
Finance Association annual meetings, Financial Intermediation
Research Society annual meetings, European Finance Association annual
meetings, among others. Dr. Krishnan's research has been cited in media
outlets such as Financial Times,
Bloomberg, and Dow Jones Newswires.
