BurgardA book of essays on covering religion in the post-9/11 world, edited by Stephen Burgard, director of the School of Journalism, received favorable notice in the summer Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly. It contains essays by leading experts on religion in the news, and includes an essay and introduction by Professor Burgard. It is being used currently as a supplementary reader in the school’s introductory journalism course called “Interpreting the Day’s News."
