Madeline Garcia-Gilbert

Madeline Garcia-GilbertMrs. Garcia-Gilbert has currently re-joined IUHRP in the capacity of Graduate Fellow for the LAUNCH Project. She brings 15+ years of experience working with diverse populations. During her previous approximately three year tenure with IUHRP, she worked as a Research Interviewer with a team of evaluators in a joint effort to collect data for programmatic evaluation purposes in the areas of drug addition, re-entry, HIV & STI education & Prevention.

Mrs. Garcia-Gilbert went on to work on a grant through Bouvé College as a Project Manager in the area of continuity of breastfeeding before rejoining IUHRP as a Graduate Fellow as she pursues her Master’s in Public Health at Northeastern University.

Before joining Northeastern University, Mrs. Garcia-Gilbert worked with local non-profit agencies providing direct client interventions in the areas of housing, substance abuse, finance, workforce and educational development with a focus on empowering and promoting community sustainability.

Her interests are in the areas of health disparities in urban settings, and program development and evaluation.
