RemoteApp provides students, faculty and staff with virtual access to select Windows applications anywhere a high-speed, wired Internet connection is available.

This service has replaced myApps, which retired on December 20, 2015. For more on the differences between myApps and RemoteApp, help on getting started with the new service, and tips on moving your work from the old one, see the RemoteApp Transition Guide.


Access

Students, faculty and staff can all access RemoteApp through the myNEU portal. It can also be accessed directly via a URL. It is recommended that you have a high-speed, wired Internet connection.

Get Started

To use RemoteApp, you must have Microsoft Remote Desktop software installed on your computer. Windows computers have the client installed by default. Mac computers must manually install the current client, and must not have any older versions installed.

Follow the instructions linked in the How To’s below for Windows and for Mac. You will need to log into the RemoteApp portal using your myNEU username and password.
