What does the computer equipment relocation service include?

The service includes the following:

  • Initial site survey to verify equipment and move location.
  • Data backup services or verification of backed up data on desktop and laptop computers that need to be relocated.
  • Disconnection of cables and peripherals at old location and connection at the new location.
  • Packaging and shipping/relocating of all desktop computers, laptops, monitors and peripherals, such as printers and scanners, and phones.
  • Verification that the desktop computer, peripherals, and telephones are in working condition at new location.
  • Verification of network connection for computers, and printers (when applicable) and printing functionality at new location.

What are the costs of computer relocation services?

There is an initial coordination charge based on the number of devices being relocated (includes desktop computers, monitors, local and network printers, and telephones):

  • Up to 25 devices – $263
  • Up to 50 devices – $526
  • 50-100 devices – $1042
  • Greater than 100 devices – $1403

In addition to the coordination fee, there is a cost for physical relocation and setup per device:

  • Desktop Computer with Monitor – $50
  • Stand-alone Monitor – $25
  • Desktop Printer – $20
  • Network Printer – $50
  • Scanner – $20
  • Phone – $10
  • Packing Material – $50 (flat fee)
  • Specialized Equipment (lab, audio/visual, etc) – Custom Quoted

What does it cost for assistance to set up a new desktop computer?

Charges will vary based on the devices being setup:

  • Desktop Computer with Monitor – $50
  • Stand-alone Monitor – $25
  • Desktop Printer – $20
  • Network Printer – $50
  • Scanner – $20
  • Phone – $10
  • Packing Material – $50 (flat fee)
