The International Student & Scholar Institute (ISSI) joins the University and world communities in expressing its sympathy and support for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Sichuan, China, and the tragic destruction caused by the cyclone in Burma (Myanmar).
On behalf of the University, the ISSI is organizing a fundraising effort, and will be routing donations from the Northeastern community to three reputable charities that are already actively engaged in providing essential resources and services in both of these countries. If you would like to make a donation via a personal check, please visit the ISSI, 405 Ell Hall, or contact us at 617.373.2310. Individuals may also choose to donate via transfer of funds or online. Please consult with an ISSI staff member to discuss donation options that best suit your personal preferences.
