Structured around specific regions of the world or topics pertinent to the fields of international education and higher education administration, these conversations or meetings provide useful information that cannot typically be obtained from surveys or other measures of student satisfaction. While focus groups are confidential at the level of the individual participant, they do provide essential feedback for addressing overall international student concerns and issues of shared interest.
ISSI focus groups are also intended to provide a forum for the inclusion of international and cultural perspectives that are essential tools toward heightening our understanding and appreciation of a diverse community.
